The More I Blog...

...the less inspired I'm feeling.  There are times in my life where I'm sickened by this materialistic lifestyle of name brands and corporate companies - I feel so GUILTY!  which explains my token posts of vintage and auction items.

Deep down inside, I'm truly a thrift store gal.  The gift of finding gold at the Goodwill is an innate skill.  My mother's got it and HER mother had it.  Creepy? or not, my mother frequents thrift stores to browse and be closer to my grandmother.  I think I'll be doing the same when my mom passes.

That's it.  Concept change.  I'm not going to blog again until my next visit to the thrift store.  I will be taking pictures of items that catch my eye and are worth buying.  Unfortunately for my readers, you can't get them because you all live so far away!  But, you can definitely search your local second hand store for a similar item.  Good luck with that! <---I'm being super sarcastic.

Allow my blog to be a simple reminder that we needn't splurge on items that grow so quickly "out of season".  We can support the cause and damn the man.

My Apologies

I'm sorry for the delay in posts! (Who am I kidding? I've got possibly 2 people reading this blog! haha)  With the holidays, a migraine, and lack of sleep - I've been uninspired by anything "fashionable".  To prove this, I recently purchased the awesome Nordstrom's Rack $25 Groupon for $50 worth of goods - WENT to Nordstrom's Rack and found NOTHING.  When does that ever happen to me?  Never. *sigh...

To get back into the spirit of things, I'm blogging about a few "wants" I'm wishing and hoping for this holiday season.  Work hard - spend harder! hehe.  Enjoy...

BOGO

It's BOGO time at Payless!  Yes, they're shoes can be a bit uncomfortable.  Yes, the styles aren't always the greatest.  But, it IS possible to find cute shoes that are semi-comfortable.  I have been able to find quite a few pairs of cute shoes and bogo is awesome.  Right now, Payless has very cute winter styles, including boots that have extra width in the calves (hard to come by, for those who don't need the extra width, so I'm very happy about that)!

All shoes below are under $40!
